Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Lodol Reach: how bounties, meetings, and payment work.

In short

  • You pay only for meetings the customer joins, charged to your card right after the call. Nothing up front, and no subscription.
  • You can edit or stop a bounty until we start booking meetings for it.
  • If you meet someone Lodol Reach introduced outside of Lodol Reach to avoid the bounty, you still pay for that meeting, and we close your account.

About these terms

Lodol Reach is a product of Lodol, Inc. (“Lodol,” “we,” “us”). Founders use Lodol Reach to meet the customers they want: they post a bounty saying who they want to meet and what a meeting is worth to them, we book sales calls on their calendar, and they pay only for the calls the customer attends.

These terms are an agreement between you and Lodol about using Lodol Reach (the “Services”). The people who book calls with you through Lodol Reach are “prospects.”

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services. If you use Lodol Reach for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm that you're allowed to.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction to access or use our Services. Lodol Reach is for businesses: use it for your company's sales, not as a consumer.

3. How Lodol Reach Works

  • Bounties. You describe who you want to meet, how many companies, and the bounty per meeting: what you'll pay for each meeting a prospect joins, from $30 to $10,000. Lodol Reach recommends a price, but the bounty is yours to set.
  • Pickup. The Lodol Reach team decides which bounties to pick up. When we pick one up, we look for people who match it and invite them to book a call through your Calendly. We don't promise to pick up any bounty, or that any number of meetings will happen.
  • Changes. You can edit or stop a bounty until we pick it up. Once we do, it runs until you've met every company on it or we drop it. We can drop a bounty at any time; you can then edit it for us to consider again, or stop it. Meetings already booked when a bounty is dropped still happen, and are paid for as described below.

4. Paying for Meetings

4.1 What you pay

For each meeting a prospect joins, you pay the bounty per meeting that applied when the meeting was booked, whether or not you attend. If the prospect doesn't join, or you or the prospect cancel, the meeting costs nothing. Each company counts once per bounty. Prices are in US dollars and don't include any taxes that apply, which you're responsible for. There's no subscription or other fee.

4.2 When you're charged

You save a card with our payment processor, Stripe, when you post your first bounty; nothing is charged then. We charge that card for each meeting shortly after it happens, and you authorize us to do so. The Billing page lists every charge.

4.3 How we decide who joined

We verify attendance from Google Meet's record of who was on the call. When that record isn't clear, a person on our team decides, from who was on the call and anything else relevant. Someone from the prospect's company who joins on their behalf, such as a colleague they send in their place, counts as the prospect joining. If you think we got it wrong, email support@lodol.com within 30 days of the charge and we'll look again. If nobody joined for the prospect, we'll refund the charge. Otherwise, charges are final.

4.4 If a charge is declined

We'll let you know, and charge the card you update. Until it's paid, we won't pick up your new bounties, and we may stop booking meetings for the ones in progress.

5. Meeting People Lodol Reach Introduces

Lodol Reach is paid when you meet the people it introduces. A prospect is introduced by Lodol Reach if we invited them to meet you, or they booked a call through your Lodol Reach booking link.

If, within 12 months of Lodol Reach introducing a prospect, you arrange to meet them outside of Lodol Reach in order to avoid paying the bounty, you owe the bounty per meeting for that meeting, and we may charge your card for it. We may also close your account, which cancels your upcoming meetings and closes your bounties. This doesn't apply to people you were already talking to before Lodol Reach introduced them.

6. Your Calendar, Calls & Information

  • When you connect Calendly and Google, you allow Lodol Reach to read the bookings made through your Lodol Reach links and who joined the Google Meet calls Lodol Reach booked, as our Privacy Policy describes. We use who joined only to verify attendance, and Lodol Reach never changes your calendar.
  • Keep your company profile accurate. We share it with prospects to introduce you, so tell us only what you're happy for them to see.
  • Use what you learn about prospects only for the conversations they agreed to. Don't add them to marketing lists without their consent.
  • We'll email you about your account, such as meetings booked, charges, and notes from the Lodol Reach team.

7. Beta Services

Lodol Reach is new. The Services may be incomplete, contain bugs, or change significantly at any time without prior notice, and we make no guarantees about their reliability.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer the Services or attempt to extract their source code.
  • Bypass authentication or access controls.
  • Transmit malware, or attack or overload the Services.
  • Impersonate others, or misrepresent your company or what you sell.
  • Send unsolicited or unauthorized communications to the people you meet through Lodol Reach.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property.
  • Create more than one account for the same company.

9. Accounts, Security & Enforcement

Keep your password confidential, and tell us right away at support@lodol.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under it. If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action if necessary.

10. Intellectual Property & Feedback

Lodol retains all intellectual property rights to the Services. Any feedback you provide, including your answers about the meetings Lodol Reach books, may be used by us without restriction or obligation.

11. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including what Lodol Reach receives from Calendly and Google.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that any prospect will buy from you. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid Lodol Reach in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@lodol.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. Charges for meetings that happened before an account closes are still due.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email before it applies. Your continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
