How Lodol Reach collects, uses, and protects your information.

In short

We use your information to book your meetings and to confirm who attended them.
We don't sell it, show you ads, or use it to train AI.
We verify attendance from Google Meet's record of who joined each call, and never access what was said.

About this policy

Lodol Reach is a product of Lodol, Inc. (“Lodol,” “we,” “us”). Founders use Lodol Reach to meet the customers they want: they tell us who they want to meet, we book sales calls on their calendar, and they pay only for the calls the customer attends.

This policy explains what information Lodol Reach collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers founders who use Lodol Reach, and the people who book calls with them through a Lodol Reach link (“prospects”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

Account information. Your name, work email, and password, unless you continue with Google instead. We store your password only as a scrypt hash, never as readable text.
Company profile. Your company's name, website, and what you sell; your team's names, roles, and LinkedIn profiles; and, if you add them, your background, your funding rounds and investors, and the customers you're happy for us to mention.
Bounties. Who you want to meet, how many companies, and what a meeting is worth to you. A bounty you describe before creating your account stays in your browser until you create it (or, while you continue with Google, with us for up to 10 minutes), and is then saved with your account until you post it.
Payment information. When you add a card, Stripe collects and keeps it. We receive its brand, last four digits, and expiry date, and the result of each charge, never your full card number.
Feedback. How a meeting went (a good fit or not), and any note you add. The Lodol Reach team sees it and uses it to find better matches.
Communications. What you tell us when you email us.

1.2 Information from Calendly

When you connect Calendly, we receive your Calendly name and email and the events you offer. To find the calls booked through Lodol Reach links, Lodol Reach looks at the bookings on your Calendly. It keeps only bookings made through a Lodol Reach link and ignores the rest.

For each Lodol Reach booking, we keep the prospect's name and email, their answers to your booking questions (such as their company and job title), the time and video link, and, if the call is canceled, who canceled it.

1.3 Information from Google

When you continue with Google to sign up or log in, we receive your Google account's ID, email address, whether Google has verified it, and your name. We use them to sign you in, and your name for a new account. We don't keep any access to your Google account from signing in.

When you connect Google Meet, we receive your Google account's ID and email address, and read-only access to the records Google Meet keeps of your calls. For each call Lodol Reach booked, we read when it started and ended, and the names of the people who joined. We don't access recordings, transcripts, or chat, or anything in your Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or Drive. Section 3 explains how we handle this information.

1.4 Information about prospects

If you book a call through a Lodol Reach link, we receive your name, email, company, and job title from the booking, and the call's time and link. After the call, we record whether you joined, from Google Meet's record of who was on it.

1.5 Information we collect automatically

Log-in records. When a log-in fails, we record the email address and network (IP) address it came from, to slow down password guessing. We delete these records within 24 hours.
Time zone. Your browser's time zone, saved with your account, so times in our emails match the ones you see in Lodol Reach.
Cookies. Lodol Reach uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that keeps you signed in (for up to 30 days), one that remembers your time zone so times show in your local time, and one that lasts 10 minutes while you continue with Google or connect Calendly or Google Meet. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Server logs. Our hosting providers keep standard logs, such as IP addresses, browser types, and errors, for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Your Information

To run Lodol Reach: to introduce you to the people you want to meet, book calls on your calendar, and show you your meetings.
To confirm who attended each call, so you're charged only when the customer shows up.
To process payments and keep an accurate record of every charge.
To email you about your account: meetings booked and held, charges, notes from the Lodol Reach team, connections that need you, and links to reset your password.
To keep Lodol Reach secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our rules, such as closing the account of a founder who contacts a prospect outside Lodol Reach to avoid paying for a meeting.
To answer your questions when you contact us.

We don't sell your personal information, show you ads, or use your information to train AI models.

2.1 Legal basis for processing (EU and UK residents)

Where applicable, we process personal information on these legal bases:

To perform our contract with you, for example to book and confirm your meetings.
Our legitimate interests, for example to keep Lodol Reach secure, and to confirm who attended a call a founder is paying for.
Your consent, for example when you continue with Google, or connect Calendly or Google Meet.
To comply with legal obligations, for example keeping financial records.

3. Google User Data

This section explains how Lodol Reach handles the information it receives from Google when you continue with Google or connect Google Meet.

What we access. When you continue with Google: your Google account's ID, email address, and name, with the openid, email, and profile permissions. When you connect Google Meet: your Google account's ID and email address, and, for calls Lodol Reach booked through your Calendly, Google Meet's record of each call: when it started and ended, and the names of the people who joined, with the openid, email, and meetings.space.readonly permissions.
How we use it. To sign you in, and to confirm who attended the calls Lodol Reach booked, so you're charged only when the customer shows up, and to show you which Google account is connected.
How we store it. The ID of the Google account you continue with is kept with your Lodol Reach account, to recognize you next time. Your Google Meet access tokens are encrypted before they're stored. The names of the people who joined a call are kept with that meeting's record, as the evidence for its outcome and any charge. We don't keep anything else from Google.
Who sees it. You do. When Google Meet's record doesn't clearly show whether the customer joined, a person on the Lodol Reach team looks at who was on the call to decide. Otherwise, no person reads your Google data, except when needed for security or to comply with the law.
Sharing. We don't sell Google user data or use it for advertising, and we don't transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide this feature, for security, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
AI. We don't use Google user data to develop, improve, or train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Your control. You can remove Lodol Reach's access at any time in your Google Account, under third-party apps and services. Lodol Reach then stops reading your calls. To delete the Google data we've stored, email privacy@lodol.com.

Lodol Reach's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

Between the people who meet. When Lodol Reach introduces a founder, prospects see the founder's name, company, what they sell, and the team and customers the founder chose to share. Founders see the name, job title, and company of the people who book with them, and when each call is.
With service providers who help us run Lodol Reach. Stripe for payments, SendGrid to send email, Calendly for scheduling, Google for Meet attendance, and our hosting providers. A current list of Lodol's subprocessors is at trust.lodol.com.
For legal or security reasons, such as responding to lawful requests or protecting Lodol Reach and the people who use it.
As part of a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Your Rights & Choices

You can see and update your company profile, bounties, and connected accounts in Lodol Reach at any time.
You can remove Lodol Reach's access to Calendly or Google from their own settings at any time.
You can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or its deletion by emailing privacy@lodol.com. We aim to respond to verified requests within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. We may keep records we're required to keep, such as payment records.
Prospects can ask the same, writing from the email address they booked with.

California residents

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to ask us to delete or correct it; and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data Retention & Security

We keep your information while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as needed to comply with legal obligations (such as keeping financial records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some information is kept for less time:

Failed log-in records: up to 24 hours.
Sign-in sessions: up to 30 days.
Calendly bookings not made through a Lodol Reach link: not kept.
Google Meet records: only the names of the people who joined each call Lodol Reach booked.

To protect your information:

Lodol Reach is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Passwords and sign-in cookies are stored only as hashes.
Password reset links work once, for an hour, and are stored only as hashes.
Calendly and Google tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they're stored.
Repeated failed log-ins are paused, and access to Lodol Reach's data is limited to the Lodol Reach team.

No way of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect yours.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries with different data protection laws.

8. Children's Privacy

Lodol Reach is for businesses and isn't intended for anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected information from someone under 18, we'll delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in Lodol Reach, and update the date at the top.
